"Astrakhanskaya" hotel is the unique historical and architectural monument built in 1890 by merchant Mikhail Fedorov. Hotel complex consists of two buildings built in different years with elements of Byzantine, Russian and Classical styles. Original name of the hotel is "Europe iskaya". There are residential apartments that were built inside the hotel specifically for Russian Emperor Alexander III, and it also was visited by many historical figures such as Maxim Gorky, Vasily Surikov, Vladimir Giljarovsky, Pisemsky Alexei and Fyodor Chaliapin.
